Contacting Us

By entering your personal data in one of our contact forms, you consent to its transmission, storage, and processing by us for the duration of the handling of your specific request. This particularly applies to inquiries via contact form, chat, and emails sent to us. We need this data to process your request and will store your IP address for evidence purposes (GDPR Art 17 Sec 3 lit e). The data will be stored as long as necessary to handle any supplementary or subsequent questions from you or us.

General Information on Processing Your Personal Data

When you visit our website, your IP address, the start and end of your session, and other technical data about the visit are recorded for the duration of the session. This is necessary for technical reasons and thus constitutes a legitimate interest (Art 6 Sec 1 lit f GDPR).

Where our website provides the option to enter personal data (e.g., name, address, or email address), this is done on an explicitly voluntary basis with your consent. Any consent given to us can be revoked at any time without reason. There is no obligation to provide the data we ask for on our website.

The legal bases for this data processing are your consent, our pre-contractual and contractual obligations to you, our legitimate interests, and legal obligations of all kinds, as well as § 96 TKG.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small file that can be stored on the visitor’s device when you visit our website. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Most of the cookies on this website are so-called session cookies. They are automatically deleted when you leave our website. Persistent cookies, however, remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

Only cookies that are absolutely necessary for the functionality of the website are set when visiting our website. Otherwise, we process your personal data by setting cookies only after your explicit consent.

You can prevent the setting of cookies at any time through an appropriate setting in your browser. You can also delete already set cookies at any time via your browser. This is possible in all common browsers. However, we would like to point out that if you deactivate the setting of cookies in your used internet browser or delete already set cookies, it may not be possible to use all functions of our website fully.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies stored on your device that allow analysis of your use of the website (including your IP address and the URLs of the visited pages). The generated information is usually transferred to a Google server and stored there.

This website uses the IP anonymization option offered by Google Analytics. Your IP address is shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google.

Data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 Sec 3 TKG and Art 6 Sec 1 lit a (consent) and/or Art 6 Sec 1 lit f (legitimate interest) GDPR.

Our legitimate interest in terms of GDPR is the ability to create easily usable website access statistics and subsequently improve our offer and our web presence.

As mentioned above, you can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. You can also prevent Google from collecting your data in connection with Google Analytics by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on

Further information on Google’s terms of use and Google’s privacy policy can be found at: Google Analytics Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows marketers to manage website tags via an interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not collect personal data. The tool triggers other tags that may, in turn, collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been performed at the domain or cookie level, it remains in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Your Rights Regarding Personal Data

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data, as well as to request the correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability of your specified personal data. You can also object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances or revoke the previously given consent for processing, provided that no legal retention obligation on our part stands in the way. The lawfulness of the data processed based on consent until the revocation is not affected by the revocation.

You can direct these requests to the contact details provided above, stating your request.

Protecting and lawfully processing your personal data is an important concern for us. We have implemented organizational and technical protective measures that we continuously evaluate and adjust as needed to protect your stored and processed personal data. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the processing of your personal data, please contact us at the above contact details. If you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful, please contact the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (DSB), Wickenburggasse 8-10, 1080 Vienna.

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, IP address, time of server request.

This is necessary for technical reasons and thus constitutes a legitimate interest (Art 6 Sec 1 lit f GDPR) and also serves evidence purposes (GDPR Art 17 Sec 3 lit e). These data will not be merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check these data retrospectively if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.

Storage Location and Duration

When you contact us, the data you provide will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions as well as for evidence purposes (GDPR Art 17 Sec 3 lit e). We do not pass on this data without your consent. The data we store will be stored for 14 days by our hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH. Additionally, we use third-party providers for backups for security reasons, where data is stored for up to five years.

External Resources/Services

To design, implement, and display certain content on our website, we may incorporate resources and services from third parties (including program and code libraries, third-party content like fonts, maps, videos, icons, cookie consent, etc.).

It is technically necessary and/or intended for your IP address (addressing the access to our website) to be transmitted to the server of such a provider. We try to keep such access and the use of external resources to a minimum. However, this is not always feasible. The use of such resources and services constitutes a legitimate interest of ours; namely, the provision of the relevant services and content for the demand and interest-oriented operation of this website and the provision of the desired content and information within our online presence (legal basis: Art. 6 Sec 1 lit f GDPR).

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to adjust the information provided in this privacy policy without prior notice to changed legislation or jurisprudence. The currently published version is valid.
